2025 Table Host Information - We Are For The Children Annual Luncheon
Thank you for joining us as table captain for CASA of Marion County’s annual luncheon.
As a table host, you play an important role in ensuring a successful event and increasing our ability to serve more children in foster care throughout Marion County. Below are listed some items that will help you be most successful in inviting your guests.
Prior to the event:
Personally invite guests to join you on Thursday, October 9th at Keizer Civic Center. The event begins promptly at 12:00 noon and doors open at 11:30. Each table seats 8 guests.
Let your guests know that the program is exactly one hour. Lunch is FREE, but after hearing an inspiring presentation guests will be invited to make a monthly or one-time gift. A donation is NOT required. This is an opportunity for guests to learn more about CASA’s mission and the exceptional work done to support children in foster care in our community. Invite enough guests to fill your table of 8 (don’t forget to include yourself).
Please use the attached form to keep track of your guests. Be sure to complete it with guest name, email address, and any dietary/accessibility needs.
Don’t forget to follow up with your guests!
Reconfirm attendance and notify us at development@casamarionor.org of any changes.
At the event:
- Arrive by 11:30am so you can greet your guests and direct them to your table.
- Serve as host/hostess and introduce your guests to each other When directed, distribute donation materials at your table.
- Collect all donation envelopes and any materials left of your table and return them to CASA staff at the registration table in the lobby.
Post Event:
- Thank them for their attendance and support of CASA.
- CASA will send out a thank you to each of your guests, along with any tax receipts for gifts given.
THANK YOU!
(LETTER YOU CAN SEND TO YOUR TABLE GUESTS)
Dear Friend,
I have volunteered to be a table captain for the CASA of Marion County We are for the Children Luncheon this year. I am deeply invested in the work they do advocating for children in foster care in Marion County who have experienced abuse and neglect.
This luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the CASA program and the impact it has in changing the story for vulnerable children throughout our community.
The event is one of the biggest fundraising events for CASA of Marion County, and while there is no cost to attend the event, there will be an ask following the program.
I am inviting you because I know you care deeply for the children in our community. I would be honored to have you as a guest at my table. Please let me know if you will be able to join me and if you have any dietary or accessibility concerns that we can address to ensure that you are comfortable at this event. I look forward to sharing more about this wonderful program with you.
Sincerely,
